Mini Kimonos★

Four new Mini Kimonos are now in my shop :)
This style Kimono called "Furisode" meaning "long sleeves" Only young single girls can wear.
When you got married, you wear short sleeve kimono. I just watched movie called "Sakuran" which is Japanese Geisya movie. There is a lots of gorgeous beautiful Kimonos. These my little kimonos remind me the movie ;)
I personally love Olive green mini kimono☆ Which one do you like??

I have a few new items in my shop this week (last week?).
1. New Supplies // Cotton - Okinawa bingata print fabric 35cm x 30cm - 5 colors!
This BINGATA is an one of traditional dye techniques and design for representing Okinawa.
Black / vivid red / off white / vivid blue / vivid yellow
They are a variety of colorful tradition patterns, such as phoenix, plum blssoms, chinese peony.
You never get tired of looking at this fabric!

2.New Kimono headband - Dark purple with butterfly kimono headband 7cm wide

This fabric went out of production and I just got only 15cm. This is the first and last headband!

3.Tow new kimono canvas -The art of Kimono - vintage silk crane 10cm x 10cm canvas / The art of Kimono - chirimen butterfly 10cm x 10cm canvas

This is a mouse saikumono, custom order★ If you want some other animals, please ask me :)

New wire headband :) This one is lovely yellow and orange based kimono fabric with sweet little white cherry blossom print.

I love this dark purple color is so gorgeous! The Balloon flower(Chinese bellflower) is a representative of summer/autumn in Japan.

Sooty and pure

Sooty and Pure is an our family. Could you look after them?

This is a real birds. Grey one is Sooty(girl), white one is Pure(boy), we know they are different kind of birds, but they are loving each other.
She was injured and was sitting in our front yard, few years ago. We decided to look after her and thought that she needs some friend. So, we bought Pure for her :)

Sometimes pretty difficult to imagine how big is these products, even you know the measurement.
I took few photos of my Saikumono on my hand.
The sizes of cherry blossom and plum blossom are almost equal to garlic.
Can you imagine these Saikumono little bit better now??

A hydrangea is a flower which represents the Japanese early summer.It made it with blue colors that suited in summer.
The back of the flower has a tiny bag. So in them you can put fragrance or jewelry etc...

Usagi mean rabbit in Japanese. I made couple of rabbits, white with red ear and black with yellow ear and red eyes. It's being a little sachet as well.
Who doesn't like a rabbit?

Thumbelina pincushion - set of 3

A little flower on a shell.
It will make your sewing desk lovely!

I wrapped the shell with chirimen(kimono) material.
I made this one last year but customer said "too little"
A little one looks cute, but too small.....Yes, I made three different size of it ;)
You don't need to use this for pincushions.
It's just lovely to sit on everywhere in your house for decoration!
